Nope, Steve, way further South than that. We are just north of the USA border. About 2 hours from either Glasgow or Malta, MT.

Brody, other than for roping or some sort of western discipline that requires a western saddle, I don't see the need for one. Unless you just really like the western style. This Aussie is sooooo comfy!

Thanks, TN.

Tnokie, thanks, That is a pretty good little cow.

Thanks for another nice set of pics. Let us know how the boots hold up. Seems like it would be a lot more convenient than keeping a horse shod, and probably a lot cheaper if the boots last any time. If you can do your own trimming, you are set!

There you are!
Dont be afraid of the camera, you look good!
Is that shot taken by your daughter?

New horse in new boots and a new saddle too.
It is nice to see pics of horses that actually earn their keep.

How many calves did you run over the scale on that day?

Will do MO. I do most of my own trimming, so it is much cheaper than metal shoes!

Lol, I'd much rather be on the other side of the camera! Yes, she is the photographer. I wouldn't say that my horses actually earn their keep. For the amount that they usually get used, I think that they are pretty well paid ;~>

We weighed about 130 calves in a couple hours that day, and then about 50 heifers the next day I think.
