It kinda looks like our makeshift loading chute that we threw together to load some pigs... same architect anyway.

actually have one like that---been in the junk pile for a lot of years, but I can still remember helping granddad use it. don't miss it one bit.

Even the fanciest modern chutes still have some of those features.
