we've been cowless for 6 months so far....

and both dh and I are so sad about it. I miss my cow more than I can believe!

If and when we ever get back to our farm (living in the 'burbs at the moment) I think we'll get a milking dexter and be able to raise her, her calf, and her yearling without too much of a problem in terms of grazing. Dh actually expressed enthusiasm about this tonight!

sigh. We miss having a cow so very much. Who would have believed a cow would be more endearing than any other livestock we undertook?

she does have an amazing new home, though, which makes her absence easier. 20 acres of the most gorgeous land all to herself and her yearling steer. Pretty good living for a good cow!
