Nice Fat 17 month old Black Baldie Heifer . Been to pasture all summer . Was hand raised and shown 4H .

I have to tape her for a weight and price.

OK guys what is the going price for a heifer like this ?

Well the minimum would be whatever she's worth at the sale barn which depends upon your region. You should be able to find a sale barn near you and look up the prices of breed heifers that have sold in the last sale and go from there.

If you think she's worth more than that amount then you would need to "tell her story" to show potential buyers why she's worth a premium.

BUT to give you some sort of starting point....
I purchased my breed (5-7 months) Black Angus cows for 1,000 each unregistered and 1,500 registered (I opted to have them registered). These were 3-5 year old cows, their weights were between 1400 and 1700 ish pounds.

Today the market for cattle is priced higher then when I bought my stock 2 years ago - it would depend upon weight ofc.
