Would it be temporary amnesia or selective amnesia?
I am not sure which it is that my critters have as many times, generally when I am most tired and most wanting to just get back in the house, they all seem to forget where it is that they go and where they need to be to find that bucket with the feed in it.
Tonight I go out to 5 goats in my yard, not in their electric fence where they go. The one couldn't seem to understand how to get back in for anything. The 3 month old calf who has been doing the same routine every night for at least a month and a half somehow blanked out on HOW we get into the barn to nurse the cow. Oh...and he's scared of the new black and white boogy man in the pen in the corner (the new holstein bottle baby we got friday morning) so will NOT go to that side of the barn to eat his grain like he normally does.
And my sweet, beautiful cow for whatever reason likes to beat the pajeebedies out of her bucket.....I'm thinking to see if she can completely break it this time.
Are mine the only ones that do this? LOL!
