Oregon processors that use vacuum packing?

I'm in Central Oregon and off the top of my head, I don't know of any local facility (either USDA or custom) that has the ability to vacuum seal meat. Does anyone here know of a place I might be missing?

What about you valley folks, where do you take your meat and have it vacu-sealed?

TIA

Everyone in the Roseburg area wraps in paper. You might try Mohawk Valley Meats in Springfield. It's a drive, but quite a few people down here drive their animals all the way up there because they do a great job. There number is (541) 746-4411. Good luck!

Last I heard Rite-way in Dundee will either vac or shrink packages. We haven't used a meat cutter in eons. I can't think of even hearing of another that doesn't use paper. Don't have the phone book close(out in the barn) or I could find the number.

IMO paper is better than vacuum.

I personally have no issues with paper for our home use but my customers want to be able to see what they have in the freezer.
