so gloss she looks wet

My little Jersey sort of heifer has shed most of her red baby coat and is coming in such an odd glassy black red color she looks soaking wet all of the time, has anyone else seen that? Does that help determine breed? Her face is almost black, her topnot red, her coat almost looks brindle...really wonder what she is..will take another picture.

Several years ago had an Angus x Jersey that looked like just what you are describing. I'll see if I can find a pic of her.
