Yep, hot, but before long you will need that firewood.

Yea, but look at all that green! Our field is swiftly turning brown. It is so hot the garden wilts in the daytime no matter how much you water it. It just can't uptake the water as fast as the sun is pulling it out! As soon as evening comes it perks up again. It was not this hot last summer, I don't believe.

Would rather take the heat then the wind storm we had a couple of morns ago. Hit the whole southern tier of counties across the bottom of WIS. Or corn was looking great. Was head high. Now just a tangled mess. Still feel very sick when I look at the fields. It is comeing back up but will be a nightmare to work with. Had one field snap off at about a foot high.

We're starting our 3rd week of 100 and up, no relief in site. My pasture is crunchy, burning up and it's the most helpless feeling. Madsaw, I know how you feel, what ever mother nature throws us, we are at her mercy. Our 8 day forcast just shows it going hotter, 106 by the end of the week, ----........... My hay field made 16 round bales, last year I got 35 bales off the same patch, I hate to think about buying hay, but I may have to.
