Getting back in the saddle-new heifer calf(s) tomorrow

As you know, we lost our wonderful springing heifer Lucy, last week. Well, friends have rallied around and been wonderful to my daughter and we got a call this morning from a fellow fair goer with gorgeous Jerseys, to let us know that they have two heifer calves for Molly to come look at tomorrow. We may take both. We'll post pics when we get home.

calves came home...what would folks suggest as a feed schedule for Jerseys at 1, 3, and 5 weeks old respectively. I've got about 3-41/2 gallons of goat milk a day which should be plenty for them but one person said thats too much and another said they should work up to 1 1/2 gall a day EACH. I thought a gallon a day each was plenty?
