Bald spots on calf

I have calf I just barely saved from coccidiosis. He's fine now but he has four or five round bald spots that started on his hind quarter. They are about the size of half dollar, mainly in a straight row and are growing at times. They don't appear to be wounds, although one has a little bit of a scab. Any idea what it might be?? I just tried to post a picture but it wouldn't let me. I'll try to later.

I'd think ringworm, too, or maybe it's just mange. Use Ivomec for mange. Ringworm is a fungus, I think. I've used Blu-Kote on that.

What you are seeing is often referred to as scour scald. It is a result of the calf being sick. High body temperatures plus manure on the area seems to be the cause. It will heal but you can apply salve to the area. I understand that bagbalm works OK.

The people at the feed store thought it would be ringworm since the spots are round and in a row. I wasn't sure if calves got ringworm or not. They gave me a topical fungicide. The spots were actually on the front part of the hindquarter, away from the part covered by scours. THANKS!
