Bull Question

Arkle has been standing in the same spot for almost 3 days now. He just stands there and kicks dirt up on his self. Is he doing that to get the flies off of him or is there another reason he is doing this. Arkle is a pretty gentle bull never had trouble out of him. He is just starring at the fence and kicking dirt up on his self.

Assume he is eating, grazing, drinking? If so, that may be where he feels most comfortable, staring at the fence, maybe there is a certain scent drifting toward him.. any cows in that direction?

The cows are in with him. It's been really hot here in the 90's and he was staying in the creek. Before that they all live under the trees during the day and come out towards evening. Like I said it just started.

Grumpy bull behavior. I've seen it often. Is he growling yet?

I once watched my bull push up against the water cart with his knees sloshing water out - he did this for 10 - 15 minutes straight till I shooed him away. NO idea what was going through his head...

I haven't seen my cows do anything remotely odd thought.

OMG 11 year old bull, he deserves to stand and kick dirt on him self.. My I ask how many cows does he serves and have you gotten any calves on the ground from him since you had him a year?
