Left holding the bag?

And there still aren't any testicles inside after three weeks.

Was going to band my Dexter bull calf at three days. Been checking, today three weeks later, nothing?

So now what?

Maybe they are un-descended? If so, you would have to have him castrated by a vet.

You usually have to squeeze them into the sack at that age. Then hold them there, apply band and count to two...Topside

Yep. Gotta find them.
They are likely just right up at the top of the sack.

I used to get that job as a kid, because of my smaller hands and good dexterity.

Good luck. Fun times, right there.

OMG, now I am embarrassed.

LOL!

This post did bring back some interesting childhood memories.
Mainly of my stepdad yelling at me when I would 'lose one'.
<snicker, giggle>

I reaslize that sounds bad too....

Farm life; you gotta be able to laugh or you are doomed.

I hope you didn`t take this wrong, I did mean you still get the job of helping with the bull calves because your hands are small. Yep you sure have to be able to laugh, or you would go crazy. > Marc

Little bugger wont let me catch him today. He is fast and looks at me with suspicion the minute I get close.

Will have to wait till the boys get home.
