What is a Mains Unit?

What is a mains unit and how do you install one in a pasture??

a mains unit is a fencer that plugs into the wall vs one that relies on the sun for power.

You must be reading a British site. Their power lines are called the power mains, and a mains unit is a plug-in charger.
