Any suggestions for a fresh 1st calf heifer, she's more a pet, but have no need for her milk, other than feed calves.

Not sure what kind of suggestions you are looking for. Is she a breed likely to milk heavily? Buy an extra calf to put on? Sell her to someone who needs milk? Milk out the extra only enough to relieve the udder until she adjust down to what the calf will take? ck
