and it went great. This was the first time we have "worked" our bull and he was a gentleman. whew! We have two new calves, one just born this morning, that we didn't want to cram in the crowded pen with the big kids milling around waiting to go thru the chute. So we strung up a rope across a corner of our corral, and the two moms with calves actually stayed behind the rope until we were ready for them. They could have walked over it in the middle, or ducked under it at the ends like they do the fly rub, but they respected it as a barrier. Everybody was on good behavior today, made it go quicker and easier.
