Question Ideas on Share Milking, or....

Hey ya'll, I would love to get your opinion on this!
I've got two Jersey's due any day now. Josie is my "mama" cow, I trained her to milk the last go-round. The other, Sue Cow, is her somewhat less manageable, 2 year old heifer.

My "plan" has been been to adopt both calves onto one cow, and milk the other one. I'm hoping Sue will adopt and I can milk Joe.(I know that Joe will adopt for sure) I just would have to pasture them separately... for how long?

OR, would I be better off to stall the calves and bring a cow in at milking time?

ANYWAY, my question is... any better options? how would you do it??
