NOW it is officially spring
First calf of the season born tonight. It was from our dinkiest heifer, she's the "runt" from a set of twins in 2009. We didn't expect it yet because she didn't bag up dramatically as our girls usually do, but the calf had a milk moustache so she's got something. She took right to mothering, she was very focused on the calf and giving the dogs outside the fence the stink-eye. Too dark for photo's, sorry!
