It's a GIRL!
Harriet my little 17 month old Jersey, delivered a healthy baby heifer yesterday afternoon!!! She did a great job, I had to help her a little bit to get the shoulders out. But mostly she did it on her own. She was quite confused and not interested in the calf. But was a superstar with her first 2 milking experiences!

Looks like you have a beautiful new heifer! (I posted a comment on your blog) How wonderful that you were there while she was born. My jersey will be having her first calf soon & I'm so worried that I will miss it. I absolutely the the new calf's coloring, too!
