My little jersey

My youngest Jersey heifer was bred accidentally by my little Dexter bull. She is 17 months now. She is due pretty quick to calve. I have been taking some pictures of her every day to see the change in her. She is a very sweet and tame little thing. We have started bringing her into the barn at milking times and getting her used to come in and stand, while I wash her udder and rub her belly.

I am pretty proud of how my little girl has grown up. I posted a picture of her yesterday out in the pasture, not the best confo shot, and a picture of her little udder, I think she is going to grow into quite the little milker.

She appears to be a well developed heifer, and most Dexters make really small calves, so all should be well.

I attended a 17 month old calving once before that went well. Two calves later, that little mama is going strong.
