Another twin, they came out fine, but didn't get to stay together

The newborn area, there's about a couple acres around this shelter. They stay here til they are 5 days old or so... On a normal year, this year they'll have to wait for the snow to melt first.

Awwww! long eyelashes and pink noses and milk bubbles on the chins.
Frisky frolics too!

Love the babies! Thanks for sharing your pics.

Did you find a surrogate mom for the second twin?

Oh, those first 2 little dummies! You have a nice creep shelter and bedding for them and they still lay down right in the snow.

Love the shots of #66 galivanting around, that is just soooooo cute, you just can't help but smile when you see that. Tail up in the air and off they go. "I feel good!" lol

Well if the other twin got a new momma, you must have lost one. Sorry bout that, but with the sets of twins you might still have 100% calf crop.

Gotta find some wood around here, but so far, so good. One set of twins on mama, and the other set we split, one was on the bottle, but we had a Holstein x Angus cow calve and decided to see if she can handle 2, she hasn't been super productive the last few years so we will see how it goes.

MO, I think that if those calves had been given a good choice they would have picked the straw too, mama just didn't want them there. I think they were on the straw by evening anyways.
