Cool Market Report question

OK, so I was looking at the market report for a local sale barn, and came across this in it:

Feeder Cattle:
Steers: Medium and Large 2 700-900 lbs 90.00-102.00. Large 3 700-900 lbs 68.50-
73.00.

Can someone tell me what they mean/difference between the "Medium and Large 2" compared to the "Large 3"?

Here is the rest of the report if any one is interested:

http://www.ams.usda.gov/mnreports/ln_ls154.txt

Thanks.

Medium/Large represents the frame size of the animal. The #2 represents the muscling of the animal. So that's why your first example costs more. The large 3 animal is large framed but has less muscling so it's worth less. A large 3 example is usually a holstein steer, big and bony. Muscling is graded from 1-5. A small 1 is worth more than a large 3...Your first animal will cost $630 and the second will cost $490. I'm 98% sure I'm correct without opening up a book...Topside

I agree with Topside's explanation.
