Need help with a frost free water on RFDTV

I saw a design of a frost free water it was on Prairie Farm Report...it was steel and had 2 pipes connceted together,,the pipes were like 6 foot long connected at one end and these were stood up and buried into the ground 5 1/2 ft the float was put into one pipe with the inflow line and the other was cut open for the cattle to drink out of.......the guy that designed it said the ground heat kept it from freezing.... and the water from first pipe kept the float from freezing........

If anybody can give me more info or a link or if you can help with the design as I watched it but did not take down just what size and how long it was......the man had them for sale and I did not get that info either It really would be lots of help

I had a gas line come thought my land at my town house and the gas line people GAVE me PIPE at a very cheap price ..... I have 300 ft of 34 inch pipe and 300 ft of 26inch pipe

I have cut the 34 inch into bunk feeders...and was thinking of using the 26 for this ....as I need 16 of these waters for my 32 calf pens....I just can not see buying $250 frostfree waters if I can get the Pipe to work

Look on the RFDTV web site for a link to Prairie Farm Report. I think you can buy the shows on dvd. I have caught a few episodes of PFR and am always impressed with the stuff they can design and build themselves.
