Please judge my heifer's condition (pic heavy-ish)

Our sweet heifer we got back in May last year (Our new jersey heifer) has really grown since we got her! We had her AI'd and we're pretty sure it "took". She should be due around the end of May this year.

Could you please tell me what you think of her condition? This is our first cow and we're not sure if she's too skinny, too fat or just right If we need to make adjustments we want to make them now before her due date. She has free choice hay and anywhere from 1/2 to 1 bucket of grain each day.

Ok being a Jersey man...looks like you just need to sell her BTW my trailer is hooked to the truck I can come take her off your hands..

..as A side note thats is ONE NICE HEIFER of the best I have seen in a long time LOOKS perfect to me...you are feeding just right IMO...you do not want to fat as it will cut down on milk production......again ONE NICE HEIFER..

BEAUTIFUL heifer. She is just lovely! I would not change a thing that you are doing with her as far as feed goes. Nicest I have seen for a while. Amateur here too but I have been looking at a lot of heifers this last year. Jersey is my breed of choice also. Love my Clover, she will be one in April.

Nah, I think we'll keep her, especially after such positive responses from everyone

Thanks, I do make a point to handle her udder each day when I take her feed or when I'm out in her pasture, hoping to get her used to that.

I think she is lovely.

I also think she is a little bit plump, but that will come off her when she starts putting energy into producing milk.

She is not heavy enough to cause calving problems, especially if she does any walking every day.

Hard to believe that's the same cow. Pretty pretty cow. We just got a Jersey heifer that's in serious need of groceries.

I think those are tongue licks...

And she's a nice looking girl. Not too fat. Expect her to take a bit of a drop in weight after she is milking and get more of that girlish Jersey figure.

Well we have never had Jerseys here but assuming they are like Dexters and you breed to calve at 2 I would say 18 months.
