soybean question

What would be the feed value of soybean straw? Soybeans are a legume, and I know green bean stems are good to feed, protein, etc.. Would soybean straw fall into the same category? Would this be good to use for beef cattle feed or is it more along the lines of wheat straw?

Reason, I found an ad for soybean straw small bales, 1$ each.

We use the soybean straw for bedding sometimes, not alot of feed value in them. You would be better off feeding oat straw. > Marc

The only way to have soybean straw fit for feed is if it is baled while immature and way before harvest. Bean straw baled after harvest isn't even good beding, just sticks.
