Took a tour of the states last night! On craigslist. Checking out the farm section in several towns in all the midwest,south and northern states. The state with the most Dexters and they happen to be cheapest there also was Alabama! The further north you go the higher and fewer there are! Seemed to be more hogs in the center of the country. It was fun compareing the prices of farm items in different areas.At least now I know where to look for low priced Dexters when I get to my farm!.

Really? I always thought the state with the most number of Dexter breeders was Missouri, based on membership of both registry's...
Pork doesn't surprize me. (I raise mostly sheep) and often refer to "The Pork Mafia" around Illinois, especially around County Fairs and State...
