I can’t find my file on this on so I will hafta do it from memory.
Light bulb over head: ( memory, from an old man who will be able to hid his own Easter eggs this year, this should be good) And has Parkinson’s and can’t spell worth a (device to restrict the flow of water)

This calf was a freebee and was born this way.
Cause: possible failed vaccination program.
Treatment: LA200 wash of both eyes then hydrogen peroxide wash 3 times a day for 7 days, then hydrogen peroxide wash twice a day for 2 weeks.
Outcome:
Completely cured and was sold as a first time heifer with calf by her side. $ ??????

Note: The white in the eyes was the actual color, not a camera thingee.
This is the same treatment I use for pink eye, but only for a shorter period of time

Was this right after cleaning, or was her face wet because her eyes weep?

Not sure what that last picture was about, though, lol!

Those are my before treatment pics. That is how she was found in the field.
I can’t find my after pics or word file, must have deleted them, but I do remember her.
H I should, I almost lived with her for 4 weeks.

OK I found some field notes.

The cause was diagnosis as IBR.
Infectious bovine rhinotracheitis (commonly called IBR or red nose)
