grass fed nursing cows/calves question

Got 4 wet beef cows with 5 calves, all are looking healthy, on grass only. One set of twins - seem to be growing well, and are starting to graze (1 mo old). See them occasionally sucking on one of the other cows. Momma (a large angus cow, 6yr old) is starting to thin out some on the back side, but milk bags are ok, not noticably empty. Pasture is very green. I am worried that they will continue to draw her down and affect her when she is re-bred. Should I leave this alone or should I start to think about creep feed for the twins to reduce the pressure on Momma?

Twin calves will definitely start to draw a cow down. I would consider starting them on creep, and also think about weaning them a little earlier than your usual time (which is I assume around 6 months?) to get the up to good condition before she calves again.
