Nice article, but I did wonder about the "herd of male - billy - goats"? It does mention 15 goats further down but doesnt say 'does'. Dont think a herd of billys would be giving much milk .ck

That's a great article. But ummm...

"Neadow explained that while cow milk is available year-round, goats give milk only in the months after."

That's not true at all. They only require a two month rest, just like a cow. She must have meant that she chooses to only milk her goats a few months after. Some people have even milked goats three years through without rebreeding.

If you keep reading it says they start to produce around Feb. and continue through Dec.
