Does anyone know of a video that shows proper, effective hand milking technique for a cow? Something that has a closeup of hand position. I seem to be seeing at least two ways - pulling or squeezing. I've been doing the squeezing and my index finger joint at the knuckle is protesting.

Have you tried youtubing it? There's all kinds of stuff on that sight. I personally prefer clamping off with forefinger against my thumb and using the other three fingers to work the milk down to the teat end.
