Halters

I was just reading some threads about halter training and had a question. What type of halters do you prefer? I have a couple rope halters that are awful. I always get them so tangled up I can't get them on the cow in a timely manner. I want to buy something different, but don't want to waste any more money. Thoughts?

Weaver makes good cow halters. Jeffer's also sells one. The kind I'm talking about are just like a horse halter with a metal buckle. Very durable and easy to put on.

I have no idea what age this animal is, week old, year old?....if it's a two month old calf use a pony halter as Sammy mentioned. Burn some extra holes with a red hot nail for tightening...
