Question about a (hopefully) bred cow

I have a 3 yr. old Simmental cow that is supposedly bred for her second calf, due in September. I have noticed over the past few days that her belly has gotten quite a bit bigger, and lately her udder has started filling up. She hasn't been preg checked, but she has showed no signs of heat even with a bull and other cows nearby. So my question is- is it normal for a cow's udder to start filling up this early? Or did someone miscalculate her due date? I'm wondering if I need to be ready for a calf sooner than September!

Awful early to bag up. When was her last calf born and when was she exposed? As far as "preparing" don't worry, she will do that.

I'd just keep an eye on her. It is pretty early though, but you never know she might just stay like this for a long time, or she might be bred earlier. If she's bred for earlier, she will keep developing.

I'm not sure when her last calf was born. I was told that she was with an Angus bull for the month of November and into December.

In that case she could calve as soon as late July.
