Fence suggestions

Okay, so we have 23 acres here. We have our front 3 acres fenced with field fence and a line of electric.
We will be finishing the top half of the property - which is mostly a hill with a 5 acre flat on top - for the horses in electric for about 10 acres total or more. . .
and I want to do everything in in between in electric only. . .and have the goats and cow in that. It would 10 acres more or less.
The goats are free range right now - the does and kids - of the day and stay around the barn, so the electric holding them isn't an issue. . . they never venture to the edges as it is. . .

My question is - with a strong charger - is 3-4 stands of the 14 guage wire with t posts every 24 feet with rebar with insulators between each t post. . .so it would be a T post, 12 feet with rebar, 12 feet a T post. . .etc. . .
sound okay? I am trying to cut back on the cost of posts by doing this, but should it work? I see people use the little step in posts to split fields with a single line of electric all of the time, and I assume this should be fine, but anyone have any opinions?

Just make sure your end and corner posts are secure (with strainer posts) and that the wire is not tensioned too tightly.

I put my posts 20 feet apart with three strands but I am not keeping goats inside it - just the cows. That is 2 strands more than I really need, but I decided while I was stringing wire, I might as well put more in - in case I decide to add more than cows.
