Warts on Cattle?

What's your home remedy, (if any) for warts on the head area of cattle?
I've got a heifer with a few warts on her head. I've used Absorbine Jr. and lotrimin to clear them up. However, most of the time, I don't worry about it and let nature take it's course.

Use a pair of wire pliers to rip several of the warts off so that the animal bleeds from the site. Causes the animals immune system to kick in.

I heard you should take one or two off, dry them and feed them to the animal, they will become immune to them then. You can also try tea tree oil, it has not worked for me. Something that does work for me is dandelion milk, take a good size dandelion root and cut it and it will make a milky juice on the cut ends. Apply the milk to the warts. I have also heard to crush Vit. -c tablets and put that on the warts. Thanks Marc
