When to wean a calf?

How old does a calf need to be before you can wean it? I know we could sell this jersey bull calf as a bottle calf and have more milk for ourselves but we're okay with easing into it too. I just wonder how old I should expect him to be old enough to wean and sell?

I wean & sell @ eight weeks and never had a problem. Some folks wean @ six weeks, I'd rather not...Good luck...Topside

we wean most times around two months, but not always. A few times, if we had way to much milk I have been known to keep calves on milk for several more months. Thanks Marc.
