Future Family Milk Cows $400 - SE Louisiana

Future Family Milk Cows $400

We have for sale two 5 month old Jersey/Holstein heifer calves. They are both sweet girls and will one day make wonderful family milk cows!

We are halter training them and they're doing well. They (for the most part!) let you catch them, put on a rope halter, and lead them. Our 6 year old can do this. They are both very used to people. One (Charlotte) is very friendly and likes to be petted. The other (Lizzie) is also friendly but a bit more shy. Both have had their udders and bellies touched all over since birth. Both were raised off of our nurse cow and not milk replacer. Lizzie has been dehorned. Charlotte has little nubs but nothing has broken through the skin yet. They are eating hay, whatever bit of grass than can get, and a little grain each day. Both heifers are healthy and strong.

$400 each or $750 for both.
