Feeding our new heifer

Ok, LUCY, daughter of Lucky, is coming home this week. She was born in September. She is only on grass right now I think. What do we need to feed this cute little Jersey heifer. What kind of wormer does one use on a girl this age, etc. We've never had a calf this age aside from bucket calves that were sold by this age. I'll post pictures when we get her home.

I'd keep her on the grass and maybe a little but of calf creep to get her use to you handling her. I use the injectable Ivermectin, seems to work better than the pour on. You don't want to put her on a lot of feed because she's not use to it, and could upset her stomach.
