Have you considered a flat sheet hoop bagger? We used one last fall. Planning on useing it again this yr. Worked good. Beats the high cost of the bags for the other baggers.

They company that amkes them is in northern WI. I will see if I can find a link to them in the morn. Basiclly its a Hoop frame that has a pulley system on it to allow you to winch up a flat sheet of plastic. There is a few feet of plastic foulded so it goes under the silage when you fill it. You use a silo blower and blow it into a pile. As it settles it pushes out on the plastice and pulls it tighter and seals off on the ground. The plastic we used last fall was a 40 X 100. With shipping it was 220. The unit itself sells for in the area of 3500 or so I think. Works great for a small scale farmer.Beats a pit or lining round bales with plastic and packing it.

It must work, there's a guy near me that has been putting up his corn silage with one for the last couple of years. Just an old M and a blower with the frame attached.
There was a thing in the Farm Show mag a while back I think...

Here is the link to their website. It only talks about the soybean processors they have now. But, call them they can send you all the info on the Flatsheet baggers. They are in Wittneberg WI.
