A Day in the Life

Of ME!!

Here's pretty much how things go around here for the winter. It was only -26 C out there this morning :nod:

Watering the smaller heifer calves...

Checking out the feed bunk. These are our replacements. They aren't quite out of feed yet, but I guess I need to fork some down.

That's the way it goes isn't it.

He is, very much worth his weight. Didn't realize how much we relied on him, til he broke his leg early last spring. Sure was glad that he was fixable, and now, that he is back to work again.

Actual temps, around -45 C. With the windchills, below -50 C. Last winter was a nasty one, spent most of Dec, Jan, Feb and a good part of March below -25 C. Made for stressful calving...
