bucket milker help

I need some one to explain my surge bucket milker to me. I completely rebuilt the pulsator but it does not pulsate. Am i correct that the vacuum pump is blowing air into the pulsator which creates the vacuum and pulsating action.

take the pulsator apart and reverse some little part in there with ports - if they go in the wrong way they lock up.

there might be two - one on the left & one on the right - two little slides....

The vacuum pump creates a vacuum. It does not blow air anywhere near the pulsator.

Hope this link works: scroll down to P.35 and look at the expanded drawing of the Surge Pulsator. Part #30 is the little slide with the holes that lays on top of the holes on the body. If you lay those in wrong when you reassemble the unit, it won't pulsate.
