Registered Mini Hereford For Sale

I am selling a registered mini Hereford for a friend and would like to know what you experts think she might be worth. She is a three year old heifer that you can view here

You can see her pedigree by using this link: http://www.herfnet.com/online/cgi-bi...72223&9=505B5E

Thanks for your advice.

Wow, I thought for sure someone here would know how much she is worth. Anyone have a clue?

Your pic link doesn't work for me.
Is she bred?
Has she calved before?

I was at an exotic livestock auction today, a VERY nice bull sold for $1500, a 3 month old bull calf sold for $350. Some sorry looking cows averaged $300-$350 not bred back, not registered. One was a snorter cow. These are the low end.

Try this link: www.cedarcovefarm.blogspot.com That should do it.
She is not bred, nor ever been exposed, as far as I know.

Sorry, Furholler, I don't have a clue. I never see them around here.

I think that her being unproven would lower the price. It's rare for a 3 year old to be unproven, it might give the impression that she may be a problem breeder.

Does the owner have a stud? Can she be settled before selling?

I have thought of that. This is the only bovine she owns, otherwise she is a horse person. I have a mini Hereford X bull, but not being a purebred with no papers, I don't know how that affects her pedigree.

google mini herford in Texas, you'll pull up a farm that specializes in them. They sell their animals for quite alot of money. They also sell semen, if she is small, and they breed her to one of those (registered)bulls, she will be quite valuable, imho.

OK, I didn't get many ideas on her value, so we are going to go with $2000 OBO. If you are interested, PM me and make an offer. It may be possible for her to be delivered. PM me and let's talk. Thanks.
