Longhorn Heifer Acting Strange

Hey all, one of my longhorn heifers (probably about 2 years old) is acting a bit strange. She doesn't seem as friendly as usual and when I went out to the field tonight, she was laying there kind of "huffing" and let me walk right up to her to pet her without standing up (usually she will get up when approached.) The huffing is kind of like she is laboring to expel each breath a little bit. I may be overreacting, but ?

She is running 101.5 in temperature rectally.

Probably not overreacting at all. She is laboring to breathe, lethargic, keeping her distance from you & probably from the herd. Does she have a calf at her side?

Hardware disease comes to mind, poisonous plants another. Keep a close eye on her. Make sure she stays hydrated, she may not feel like traveling to the water tank/stream to drink.

I will keep an eye on her. She is up and moving with the herd this morning....no calf, and I don't believe she is bred yet.
