It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I must announce the partial herd dispersal of the Celestial Herd.
For the last nine years I have lived and worked here in the US. With the latest economic down turn, I have been forced to return to Canada for employment. I have loved the time I have spent down here, the people I have met and the friendships I have made.
I will be relocating to Edmonton area in Alberta and will continue my dexter breeding at some time in the future. In the mean time I must disband a good portion of my herd.
The Celestial Herd is a group of some of the finest Dexter cattle in the Pacific Northwest. Confirmation, and udder quality has been the main focus of the breeding program and it shows in the quality of these animals.
All animals will be sold as cow calf pairs, bred back. Most have been bred back as our red bull, Nova, has been in with them. So basically you will be getting a 3 for one deal. Red cows will be having red calves and all but 2 black cows carry red. So if you would like colour, you are going to get it. We also have some bred heifers that we will be offering too.
Health inspections and transfers will be paid for. Registrations of the calves and Bangs vaccinations for the heifer calves will be the responsibility of the buyer as the heifers are still under age. Transportation can be supplied within 100 mile radius of my place on a / loaded mile basis or I would be willing to meet you within that radius.
