We had one named T-Bone a few years back.

Currently we are raising Poterhouse.

Isn't it funny the names we give our destined meals on the hoof!

I've had Bleu (for bleu burger) Sir Loin, T-bone. Right now I'm fattening up Chuck, Earl, George, and Leroy.

Wellll, add 2 more to t-bone.

They dropped 2 more bull calves off tonight. Less than 24 hours old, but DID get to nurse. They should be ok?

They needed to have gotten an adequate dose of colostrum, or it's just very difficult for them to survive and thrive without it. If they got a good amount of colostrum, then they at least have a leg on on ones that didn't. Be careful no to overfeed at this point. Scours this early in the game would probably be a death sentence. If they're smaller calves I would recommend feeding a quart and a half at a time, until you can get them established. Once they seem to be doing okay, then you can titrate the amount up to two quarts a feeding, but be sure to do it slowly. It doesn't take long to start the scours, but it sure takes a long time to get their bowels to check up once they've begun.
