General mineral knowledge needed

I work at TSC as a manger and well, I know what goats and chickens need, however Im not able to help my cattle people out past a few givens like selienum and mag but have no idea what cows would need in their diets. We are very deficient in our area of allot of minerals so if you can help me help them I would be most greatful.
A general chart that I can print and post would be great if anyone knows of such a thing.

I am guessing you can not mix your own batches, thus limited to stock type items.

If that is the case, stock 2:1, 3:1, 2:1 Heifer with and without Rumensin, and a Dry Cow mineral. You might want to stock buffer as well.

As for charts, tell you vendor to supply those, and ask him to hold a seminar for your customers over lunch someday, or get them from your local extention office.'

What I need to feed for minerals will be quite different than your area.

I add selienum to mineral mixed in my area, but if you were to do that out west in areas, you will have lots of dead cows.

I know that different mineral are required for different areas, what i need to know is what cows require, such as goats will need between 2 to three ppm of selienum and you feed according to what your defficent in. Im not good at speaking clearly at some time

Mineral content might differ between dairy and beef cattle, so keep that in mind.

But here are a few links to read up on for minerals for cattle (both dairy and beef):

hope that helps some.

Those are great links, and a very easy to understand method.
Thank you for sharing them.
