What would be better....

We would like to pick up our second dexter heifer calf.

What kind of weather would be better? If we get her tomorrow, Friday 7/17, the high for the day is 58 degrees (yes, 58 and no, I don't live in Alaska!!) with 70 for the rest of the weekend. Temps forecasted to climb back into upper 70s next week.

Or wait a week when it should be warmer?

What would be less stressful and hopefully less likely to cause any health problems? I'm thinking the cool weather, where frantically looking for mom and running around wouldn't over heat her, but I dunno!

edited to add, no it's not possible to wean her before getting her, so she'll be moved and weaned the same day and put in with our already adjusted 2 month older heifer from the same farm.

Thanks!
