Our new bull!

Introducing our new bull, Royal. I really like him and I think Velvet does too!

He's gorgeous! I think we just bought a half-brother of your new bull, if he was from Missouri!

Thank you, he is such a sweetie, he only got here this afternoon and already he comes to me to be petted. I bet you do have his half brother - did you get Terry?

He sounds wonderful! Yes, we did get Terry....we're still working on the logistics to get him down here, though, most likely after the show. We have more than a few gals anxious to meet him!

If Terry is anything like Royal you are in for a treat. Know what you mean about the logistics, this was the first time we had to arrange transport and getting everything co-ordinated was much more difficult than picking the bull.

Hi Dexter,
Yes they're Dexters, from very good lines! Royal is horned, as you can see, but Terry is polled. We're hoping to have some polled calves next year.

Thanks, Mistletoad, I'm contacting every transporter around (the good ones, anyhow), and coordinating the schedule is difficult. We may have a 'ride' with other Dexter breeders coming back from the show, but I'm still working the big transporters. The sooner we can get Terry, the better. I love the way Velvet is nestling up to Royal, that's priceless!
