Bull Hostein calf $125: good deal?

Contemplating a purchase of the following, we don't have any cows at present... THoughts?

current on first shots, but needs boosters when weened from bottle. eats grass, hay, drinks water from bucket but still depends on bottle for nutrition

Happy,bouncy personality, very active calf

gets along great with our 1yr old hef.

anyhow shoot me some offers.

i can deliver for cost of fuel.

not banded, (still has his boy parts)not polled this meens he still has his horns..im just leaving that option open for the buyer

could be raised as a pet,for butcher, or stud.

I'm not sure if you are buying or selling, but depending on the age of the calf, that seems like a fair price. He needs to be banded SOON, no one wants a Holstien bull !!!
They don't make the best pets either, he will be beef. It really depends on your area, but if he's a few weeks old, thats a fair price.

Seems a bit high to me. You can get day old (or less than a week old) Holstein bull calves right now for $20...I just bought 3 for myself 2 weeks ago. I think I am in your general area too. I didn't see how old this calf is you are talking about...but it says "still depends on bottle for nutrition" so he probably isn't very old at all.
Trisha

PS I sent you a PM as well.

It's high for here too. Dairy bull calves don't bring much around here. I've seen them around $75.
