I think I finally have it, I've been struggling to get the pix posted. Here is the latest addition to our farm, born yesterday. She is half Jersey and half Dexter, mom is almost 18 years old this is her 16 calf, mostly heifers.

There is something special about the mature and matronly mama cows. They give their all, dont they?

They sure do. And this old gal is something very special, she will take any calf I put on her, no fuss at all. Any calf is welcome to a little liquid refreshment about any time. Not at all unusual to see her truckin' around the pasture with 3 or 4 babies in tow.

Thats the kind of cow, you've gotta love................She is a great looking animal, someone has really taken care of her, hats off to you.
