new calf care - could we please have a sticky?

seems like a lot of us are asking the same or similar questions frequently.... and I'm just about to start with a bunch of q's that I know must be answered here already.

maybe we could get a new calf care sticky going?

I'm needing to know the basics:
how much milk, how often - how do you adjust this for calf size/breed?
adjustments made for replacer vs goat milk vs cow milk
what else a new calf needs
danger signs/good signs in first week of life

actually, you all know what should be there far better than I do! and I'm sure wishing it was already compiled and waiting for me - as the heifer in the barn looks to be calving in the next 2 days and I'm feeling the need to compulsively read and reread and reread to build confidence.

Catleenc,
there's a sticky at the top of the page called "salebarn bottle calves" started by topside1 than can answer most any question you can come up with regarding care and husbandry of baby calves.
