Advice on selling bull calf

We have a 7 mo old bull calf who won't stay in our electric fencing so we've decided to sell him. He's 1/2 white face 1/2 Beefmaster and in great condition. We just don't know how much to ask. Any ideas?

About that. Maybe a few dollars more if he was steered and in excellent condition.

Bull Calves

I just peddled a black angus calf about that age at the sale barn. He netted me $546, $1.01 per pound. He was a late summer calf from a first calf heifer and pretty scrubby. Late summer calves are a bad idea here.

Polled or horned? Worth less with horns.
Worth more castrated. Why was he left intact?
If there is a livestock auction barn nearby, they publish the prices of recent sales. That will give you an idea on prices in your area.
